    I would be interested to see you do this in Scotland, we probably have more ghosties and ghoulies per square foot than almost any other country!

    Lived in Northern Maryland, Hagerstown near Antietam; Gettysburg; Spook Mountain; haunted Inns; and many more such sites plus Jolly Olde England!

    Ghosts galore: real, imagined, and creeping across the floor. Ghosts can be cute, man not so sure!

    We keep a list of places to see, but it never occurred to me to add haunted houses even though many towns offer “ghost tours.” I will bookmark this.

    That’s a lot of ghost stories. I will have to take some time to read them all. St. Augustine, Florida is listed as the 3rd most haunted city in the US. I’ve experienced many unexplained sightings or feelings in the past 20 years of visiting there. The St. Augustine Lighthouse Keepers House definitely has activity because I’ve felt it and my son actual saw and spoke to a ghost there. I’ve had a wisp of cold fog cross in front of my feet in a garden on a beautiful warm sunny day on my birthday a few years ago.         The old Naval Hospital (now 2nd Marine Division) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina is also haunted. Back in the 80’s when I was stationed there, I saw a ghost one night when I had duty. Very clearly saw the man in old green satine uniform. There had been noises heard from the barracks upstairs. Our legal offices were downstairs. The courtrooms were upstairs in another part of the building. It certainly came to life at night.

    I’m thinking the Winchester Mystery House is the one I read of, wherein were claims that the widow was involved with sceances & thought something awful would happen if construction on the home stopped. There are stairways that lead to nowhere & more oddities. I’d love to visit there. This is a neat collection of research to share.
